A poster exhibition will be running throughout the duration of EuroNanoForum 2017 and it will be a dedicated place to celebrate great ideas, profound research, project results, and upcoming industry trends.   A special time slot on June 22nd will enable poster presenters to interact with the conference delegates and promote their work and establish contacts.

In addition to our poster showcase, a poster competition will be organised. A panel of experts have assessed the poster based on 3 Criteria – Originality/Novelty, S&T Quality and Relevance of topic to the EuroNanoForum 2017 event. Moreover participants have the opportunity to cast a vote during the conference (on the 2nd day and no later than 11.30) and this will be taken into consideration and will impact the final result. The Best 3 posters will be announced during the conference reception and awards ceremony on the 22nd of June.

Updated guidelines for poster presenters

Poster presentations are organised in a sequential order within the Sacra Infermeria. Each poster has a specific 3-digit number where it should be placed. The number of each poster abstract and of its corresponding poster board is as published on http://euronanoforum2017.eu/posters-selected/ , where the title of the abstracts and the authors’ details is mentioned.

The 3-digit number indicates the appropriate poster board in that area (e.g. 015 means, Board 015).

Presentation Guidelines

  1. Keep text to a minimum, emphasise graphics, and make sure every item in your poster is necessary.
    2. Posters must correspond directly with the original abstract submitted.
    3. Posters must be written and presented in English.
    4. The use of colour makes the poster more effective and attractive.
    5. When choosing a background, remember that neutral or grey colours are easier to view than a bright colour. In addition, colour photos look best when mounted on grey.
    6. We recommend a font size of at least 28pt to ensure the text is legible from a good distance.
    7. Materials should be mounted on thin poster paper or lightweight cardboard/fabric. Do not use heavy cardboard, which may prove difficult to secure to the poster board.
    8. Poster numbers will be indicated at each panel (001-130).
    9. Posters will be affixed with Velcro tape ; No other securing forms will be allowed.
    10. Bring your acceptance letter and conference badge in order to gain access to the poster area for placing your poster.

Poster No Shows

Including your abstract in the conference programme obliges you or one of your co-authors’ to actually present your contribution at the time indicated.
