Senior Researcher at the National Research Centre for the Working Environment
Senior Researcher Dr. Keld Alstrup Jensen is employed at the National Research Centre for the Working Environment (NRCWE), Copenhagen, Denmark. He obtained his Phd. degree in 1999 from the University of Aarhus, Denmark and spend 1½ year post.doc. period at the University of Michigan, USA and started his career at NRCWE in September 2000. His research focuses on materials and methods for substance identification, grouping and biological fate testing, occupational exposure measurement and assessment, and tool-development for control banding and predictive risk assessment and management. He currently coordinates the EU H2020 Project caLIBRAte on the next generation risk governance framework. He has served as Work-Package leader in several EU-funded project of which the last were the EU FP7 NANOREG and SUN projects. He contributes to standardization work and is Leader of Danish Standard working Group S-418 on Nanotechnology as well CEN standardization project CEN/TC 352/WG 1/PG 2 and contributor to CEN/TC 137/WG3. He currently has about 80 peer-reviewed scientific publications of which most are on nanotechnology and nanosafety aspects.
